The story of Tchop 237 began with a simple but frustrating realization. We acquired hundreds of authentic Cameroonian recipes compiled in heavy, unsearchable PDF files. These documents held goldmines of culinary heritage—secret spice blends, grandmother techniques, and rare regional dishes—yet they were impossible to cook with on a modern phone or kitchen counter.

Rather than leaving these cultural treasures forgotten on a hard drive, we committed ourselves to digitizing, structuring, translating, and enriching every single recipe. We created Tchop 237 so that anyone—whether in Douala, Yaoundé, Paris, Montreal, or London—could prepare an authentic Ndolé, Poulet DG, or Koki with step-by-step guidance, exact timers, and offline access.
